My oldest, Grey, turned five in September. Since June he’s talked about how fun his all boys pirate party would be so I didn’t really have a chance to make theme suggestions! If you know Grey you know he LOVES pirates. That’s all we do around here—sword fights, pirate talk, treasure hunts and cannon ball battles. And playing pirates is always a great excuse to talk about booty (he laughs everytime he says it)!

After following the clues and finding their sash, sword, eye patch and hat it was time to dig for treasure!
The day was a wonderful success. All I wanted was make a wonderful memory for my little big boy. Hopefully he’ll remember this birthday for years to come.
