I’m back!!! Good grief. I’m totally ridiculous. It has been WAY too long since I last posted. The wonderful thing about absence from the blog is that I’m spending my time doing other things… like filling orders! I’m very thankful for that distraction!
Speaking of “feeling like I’ve been here before,” I have something pretty exciting to share. DejaVu has just launched their new site. Although I’m no web designer (I can hardly handle this blog), I agreed to help shopwithdejavu.com in reworking and freshening up their site. I simply designed the homepage/overall look and viola!
We go way back. Let me fill you in; it really is an amazing story. DejaVu’s owner, Stephanie Nichols, is a dear friend of mine from college. We sat through many boring marketing classes together (if we decided to show up to class). Stephanie has always had a knack for fashion. It really is effortless on her part. She started by having trunk shows. All by herself she would lug these huge racks in and out of homes at different locations around town. Within just a few years she expanded to sorority houses, online, one store, two stores, clothing line… the rest is history. Stephanie embodies what I love about design. I love partnering with small start-ups with big ideas. We’ve grown together. Lord knows I would never show you the first flyer I put together for her!
